I am the saddest one....

Yesterday I received some bittersweet news...we are losing James as our Youth Minister. He and Emily have been praying about this for a couple of months now and he feels he is doing God's will. Coming of Age is the band he is a member of along with Drew (his brother-in-law) and Chris (his cousin-in-law) and the Lord is really opening doors for them and he felt he could not give our youth 1oo% and they deserve that. I really appreciate all they have done for our youth at Bethel, they were exactly what we needed at the time they came 17 months ago. My prayer is that God will continue to use him and the band as they minister across the Southeast to youth. Here is a picture of this sweet family! They are dear to my families heart! All of our prayers are they can stay apart of Bethel family, and have a place to come home to when they are not on the road.

Mother-Daughter Weekend in Destin

Here are a few pictures from Destin, we went over the Labor Day holiday weekend for a mother-daughter get away. Our plan is to continue this adventure on a yearly basis. We had a great time, the weather was perfect. We read books, took in some rays, watched dolphins, ate some good food and most of all enjoyed so good, silly at times fun! I have a few more to add, but it will be Monday.
